Dan brings his work in oral function, tongue-tie and myofunctional orthodontics into teaching focused on clinical reasoning and practical application. His Buteyko education background also informs his interest in breathing.

Guest teaching adds interdisciplinary perspectives. Online OMT includes contributions from Dr Megan Osborne and ENT Dr Jeevenan Jahendran.

Formats: Clinical Attachment is in person only. Foundation and OMT have online and in-person formats. Mini Residency Online is planned by December 2026. Video Library is an online subscription.

Mentoring availability does not mean unlimited or free support. Clinical Attachment observations depend on the actual patient schedule. Patient-facing Video Library access is purchased separately unless your offer explicitly includes it.

Which course is right for my profession?

CONNECT is an interdisciplinary starting point for health professionals. OMT supports clinicians developing oral-function assessment and therapy skills. Mini Residency is designed for dentists, orthodontists and their teams treating malocclusion in the deciduous and mixed dentition. Apply all learning within your qualifications and scope.

Do I need to buy CONNECT before OMT or Mini Residency?

No. CONNECT Foundation is included in both OMT and Mini Residency. Choose standalone Foundation if you want an introduction before committing to further learning.

Can I study alongside a busy clinical schedule?

Online courses are self-paced during your access period. Foundation provides 7 hours of learning, OMT 28 hours and Mini Residency 25 hours. Confirm the access duration and release date of your chosen offer before purchase; lifetime access is not promised here.

How is the Video Library different from the OMT course?

The course teaches you assessment, clinical reasoning, exercise selection and therapy planning. The separate Video Library subscription provides patient-facing demonstrations for the exercises you prescribe. Use it as an implementation tool alongside appropriate professional training.

What mentoring is available?

Online and in-person graduates can arrange optional 30-minute mentoring with Dr Dan. The first session costs A$150 + GST when taken within one month of completion; further sessions cost A$250 + GST. Sessions depend on a mutually convenient time. Live, in-person OMT and Mini Residency also include three months of dedicated WhatsApp support; this is not included with online courses or standalone Foundation.

Does the OMT certificate make me IAOM-certified?

No. Send your course certificate to IAOM as evidence of completing 28 hours of OMT education when applying for its certification pathway. Further eligibility requirements and assessment apply; course completion alone is not certification.

When is Mini Residency Online available?

Online delivery is planned by December 2026. Ask for enrolment details below. Until an online offer is confirmed, this page does not direct you to an in-person ticket as an online purchase.

Can I attend in person or observe clinical work?

Yes. Ask for current dates for Foundation, OMT or Mini Residency. Clinical Attachment offers in-person observation after the required courses: OMT plus Mini Residency for dentists and orthodontists; OMT for other health professionals. The itinerary and clinical cases are agreed when you apply and may change.

What should I check before paying?
